Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BoteGo, a community classified-ads platform for Florida connecting people who need a ride, delivery, or hauling help with people offering it. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

What BoteGo Is

BoteGo is a technology platform that facilitates peer-to-peer connections between users. It is a classified-ads directory — not a transportation provider, logistics company, dispatcher, or employer. BoteGo is NOT a transportation network company (TNC) under Florida Statutes §627.748, and no driver-partner relationship exists between BoteGo and its users. We do not dispatch drivers, set prices, guarantee service, or take a cut of any payment.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use BoteGo. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet these requirements.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at the support email below if you suspect unauthorized access.

User Conduct

You agree to use BoteGo lawfully and respectfully. Harassment, fraud, discrimination, and misrepresentation of your identity, vehicle, or cargo are prohibited and may result in account suspension. Drivers have the right to inspect declared cargo before loading (Right of Inspection) and may decline a job if inspection is refused.

Payments Are Between Users

BoteGo does not process, mediate, or hold any payment between users. Any financial agreement for a ride, delivery, or hauling job is negotiated and settled directly between the parties involved, outside of the app. Suggested amounts and price-reference figures shown in the app are informational only.

Donor Subscription

BoteGo offers an optional, auto-renewing monthly Donor subscription ($10, $20, or $50) that unlocks premium features. It is billed and processed entirely by the store you subscribed through — Google Play Billing on Android or the Apple App Store on iPhone — and BoteGo never receives or stores your payment card details. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled in that store's subscription settings (deleting your BoteGo account does not cancel it); refunds and billing disputes are handled by Google Play or Apple under their own policies, not by BoteGo. Donor status does not grant any legal protection, insurance coverage, or platform liability beyond what is described elsewhere in these Terms.

Prohibited Items & Uses

The platform must not be used to transport cash, jewelry, firearms, narcotics, hazardous waste, or any item whose transport requires a government permit or license the user does not hold. Violations may result in immediate account suspension and referral to law enforcement.

No Insurance Coverage

BoteGo does not provide, broker, or guarantee any insurance coverage for users, vehicles, cargo, or third parties. All users participate at their own risk and are solely responsible for complying with applicable insurance requirements under Florida law.

Informational Data Only

Price estimates, mileage calculations, route/traffic/weather insights, and any statistics shown in the app are informational only. They are not audited or certified for legal, tax, or accounting purposes, and should not be relied on without independent verification.

Community Badges & Feedback

Badges and ratings are awarded by other users based on their personal experience. They are not verified, audited, or endorsed by BoteGo and are not a substitute for your own due diligence before agreeing to a trip.

Platform Liability

BoteGo is not liable for accidents, injuries, property damage, theft, fraud, cancellations, disputes, or any other outcome arising from a trip, delivery, or hauling job arranged through the platform. By using the app, you agree to hold BoteGo harmless for user-to-user interactions.

Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, for fraudulent or unsafe behavior, or for repeated, credible reports from other users. You may stop using BoteGo and delete your account at any time from Settings.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of BoteGo after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
